Baby Gilley 1.5″ Soft Plastic Crappie Bait — Description & Use

Meet the Baby Gilley, a compact 1.5-inch soft plastic designed for finesse crappie action. Slim profile, subtle tail action, and lifelike flexibility make this little bait ideal for enticing bites from pressured crappie and panfish. It’s light enough for ultra-slow presentations, yet resilient enough to handle multiple casts. Available in a mix of high-contrast and natural colors.

Use it in spring through fall, especially when crappie are schooling or feeding on small baitfish or insects. In clear to stained water, work it around timber, brush lines, flooded vegetation, submerged docks, or dropoffs. In low light or stained water, go with brighter/contrast colors; in ultra-clear water, choose natural tones that match local forage.
